For nearly 2 decades, Lion Victor, a long time member gave the Lions Toast at every meeting rain or shine. Because Lion Victor moved here from the New York metropolitan area he had a tine accent. His “Not Above You, Not Below You, But With You. We Serve.” Toast always came out as “Not Above You, Not Below You But Witchyou. We Serve.”

This toast has been adopted by the regular members as the Beach Lions “Official” Toast. So if you attend our meetings remember the proper pronunciation is “Witchyou”!
